Diamonds simply are not that rare. That is a marketing ploy by De Beers to control the market/price. They are quite common because carbon is quite common.

The #10 entry is so powerful. Please be careful when purchasing it. You can get very sick if not prepared to handle the power of a Tanzanite. Sincerely -olivia the gem obsessed

This video gave me chills. These gem stones are stunning. My only problem is with opals. My mom told me all opals were bad luck for those not born in October. I am lucky 🍀, I’m an April baby. So Diamond 💎 is my gem of choice.

Not originally found in that year, Zoisite it's also found in Pakistan and Afghanistan and it was the same light to dark blue hue and in other colours not known has Tanzanite, but as Zoisite. It has been in jewellery since the late 1890s art nouveau until I saw the last piece of Tanzanite made in a large pendant with Diamonds must have been about 45 carats and art deco and I know they was still using these large stones right up to early 1950's. It's always been around just under a different names or not researched properly and given the name of sapphire by mistake, but they look so different under the microscope. I don't know who can make that mistake. Goofus a small God. The book of Goofus says, what out for fake blue stones, eventually they should be worth more, not.

I LOVE my huge tanzenite...now they only have 1 mine left (used to be 3 in Tanzania Africa) and only pulling up lavender like in color which are most abundant and not worth a forune. I collect gemstones and do have red baryl aka red emerald which is very cool. My favorites are the austrailian opals and some rare ones I forgot the name of. I inherited my extensive collection from my grandfather...so not planning on ever selling it (the gemstones) " the collection". Each case is packed with gemstones and neatly labeled on the back of each individual gemjar....Each is gem jar fits nicely in a suitcase like holder with spinje with cutouts for the gem jars...it's actually very cool!
Never heard of " taffite" until now...Ty :)
Looks like natural pink topaz...by natural I mean untreated/or heated (mine is about 2 cts and was dug up in 1947...). I've always loved the demantoids...look similar to peridot's in color but I love that bright chartruzy green.
I have most all kinds in a neat collection and all have their documented papers and had a small notebook with notes in each one in great detail. I really like Kunzite pink...a few in there but instructions say these are to be if set to be worn in the evening as sunlight can lughten them and they lose alot of value. Kunzite is mined here in the States and JFK gave one to Jackie O before he died.
For a person who is not fond of the color orange I really love Spasserite garnets. There is one in there that I forgot the name of but all of them are mined already.

Ty for posting...funny thing is when you know about somethings you only realize how much you really don't know. I like learning about all kinds of things ☺

The price quoted in this video for the black opal shown...is seriously lower than its true value. As another comment said, you need to add some zeroes.
